is a unique radio show that covers theology, faith & culture with a fresh urban slant. Imagine a program that uses a theological term like regeneration (“new birth”) right next to a slang term like chop it up (“to converse”) – that’s us!
We seek to speak to metropolitan culture and student life. We desire to equip believers for on-the-go evangelism and discipleship as well as illustrate to “seekers” and critics the evidence for the historic Christian faith. We deal with theological issues that our listeners face day-to-day in their life as they seek to better defend, explain, and understand the historic Christian faith.

To debate, discuss, and dissect relevant questions and issues about the Christian faith from a Biblical perspective. The mediums we use are live radio and internet podcasts.

He serves as the lead pastor of Roosevelt Community Church. His prayer and vision for Roosevelt is that it would be a “multicultural, multiethnic multieconomic community that acts like family towards each other, and that we would be right in the thick of God’s mission to transform and renew our city and our world.” Vermon is married to his wife, Dennae, who are the parents of four wonderful children.

Bob Korljan
Pastor Bob is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church of America and he is the owner of a financial planning firm. He and his wife, Ginger, have a total of seven children between them (as both of their first spouses died). We know that as we all understand the great truths of God’s word our lives are changed.

Vocab Malone
VOCAB MALONE is an urban apologist and Christian slam poet. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, and resides in Phoenix, Arizona. Vocab’s ministry focus is urban apologetics and cultural worldview analysis (e.g., theology of superhero films). He honed his apologetic art in street evangelism encounters with the new atheists on the campus of Arizona State University. He began an apologetics blog in 2007 and his first formal debate (with Jeff Durbin as his partner) was in 2011. Since then, he has participated in numerous debates and discussions with various groups, especially Muslims. He obtained a Master’s Degree from Phoenix Seminary and is in the process of working on a doctorate of ministry under JP Moreland. Vocab enjoys coffee, ComiCon life, and general nostalgia.
